About

James has practiced civil litigation and real estate law for over 16 years. He joined Papazian Heisey Myers as an associate in 2011.

James has routinely acted for large lending institutions such as National Bank of Canada, Standard Life Assurance Company of Canada and Mercado Capital Corporation with respect to their lending, leasing and debt collection needs.

With respect to advocacy, he appears before the Superior Court of Justice, the Federal Court, Bankruptcy Court, the Toronto Commercial List, and the Ontario Municipal Board. In court he acts mainly for creditors and trustees in matters ranging from setting aside fraudulent transfers of debtor property to arranging the judicial sale of yachts in Admiralty Court.
